I received my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, FL in 2015. I absolutely loved learning by the beach and I grew a lot as a person during my time in school. From there, I moved to Charlotte, NC to begin my career. North Carolina is also where I met my husband who swept me away to Washington State for Army life. I am a proud military spouse and have had the opportunity of living across the country; WA, MD, KS and soon to be GA!
Moving around has allowed me to work in multiple clinics, each with their own unique flare. I believe that this experience has shaped me into the therapist that I am today and how I view what “true” Physical Therapy should be.
I practice with a hands-on approach; meaning that my clients receive manual therapy, tactile cues for proper exercise performance and skillful techniques to achieve physical goals. I have completed specialized certifications in manual therapy, dry needling and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Living with and addressing my own orthopedic issues throughout the years has allowed me to empathsize with my patients and open my eyes to corrective treatments that work and are long-lasting. My goal is to not just treat your symptoms, but to prevent them from returning and provide you with tools in your toolbox to inspire confidence throughout your journey.
