Dr. Ellicia Jacobs
Hi, I’m Dr. Ellicia Jacobs — a Physical Therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in pelvic health therapy.
I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University (Arlington, Virginia) in 2015, and from the very start of my PT journey, I was drawn to the world of pelvic health. That early spark quickly became a passion, fueling years of post-graduate training in both Western and holistic approaches. My goal has always been to provide personalized, compassionate care to an area of the body that is often misunderstood and overlooked.
My approach is rooted in creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take charge of your well-being. I’m particularly known for working with patients navigating chronic pelvic pain and complex medical conditions — blending clinical expertise with a whole-body perspective to uncover the root causes of dysfunction.
I use a variety of hands-on techniques including: - Myofascial Release - Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute) - Craniosacral Therapy (Upledger Institute) - Dry Needling - Cupping
Alongside these therapies, I also emphasize movement, exercise prescription, and sustainable self-care practices to support long-term healing.
Whether you’re navigating pregnancy or postpartum recovery, struggling with pelvic pain, incontinence, or other intimate concerns — please know that you’re not alone. It would be my honor to support you on your journey.

Dr. Abbie Laycock
I received my doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, FL in 2015. I absolutely loved learning by the beach and I grew a lot as a person during my time in school. From there, I moved to Charlotte, NC to begin my career. North Carolina is also where I met my husband who swept me away to Washington State for Army life. I am a proud military spouse and have had the opportunity of living across the country; WA, MD, KS and soon to be GA!
Moving around has allowed me to work in multiple clinics, each with their own unique flare. I believe that this experience has shaped me into the therapist that I am today and how I view what “true” Physical Therapy should be.
I practice with a hands-on approach; meaning that my clients receive manual therapy, tactile cues for proper exercise performance and skillful techniques to achieve physical goals. Clients are seen one on one for 60 minute sessions with me throughout their entire plan of care; no assistants, no tech, just me. Hence on why ‘The Hands On Physio’ …
I have completed specialized certifications in manual therapy, dry needling and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Living with and addressing my own orthopedic issues throughout the years has allowed me to empathsize with my patients and open my eyes to corrective treatments that work and are long-lasting. My goal is to not just treat your symptoms, but to prevent them from returning and provide you with tools in your toolbox to inspire confidence throughout your journey.
